In conjunction with the 2009 LAND/ART initiative, the University of New Mexico Art Museum presented "Dispersal/Return" featuring the work of 18 artists who participated as students in the Land Arts of the American West Program. Also presented was the solo exhibition "Bill Gilbert: Physiocartography, 2005-2006" a series of works by Bill Gilbert, the director and founder of the Land Arts of the American West Program.
